Introduction
Pakhtunkhwa Study Centre was established in 2013 and got its status of the center under Khyber Pakhtunkhwa University Act 2012. The centre is aimed to cover all aspects of Pakhtunkhwa including different languages generally and Pashto language particularly, socio cultural attributes of the people and problems like terrorism and peace. The centre also aimed to explore and highlight the contributions ofvarious heroes in the field of literature and history. It is also observed in the entire world that progress and development of nations are possible only through promotion and considering their native languages as well as their culture and history. Keeping in view these situations, the Pakhtunkhwa land also needs for the promotion and survival of its native languages and culture. Currently the Pakhtunkhwa study centre offers different academic programs like B. S, M. Phil and PhD
The Pakhtunkhwa Study center is a teaching, research and publication institution first ever established in Bacha Khan University Charsadda. The main objective of the center is to promote research orientation with latest research applications. The center is also aimed to uphold the Pakhtun social and culture life in the area.
Endorsement and promotion of Pakhtunkhwa languages through research while exploring the contribution of previous and contemporary thinkers and contributors in the relevant field. It is also aimed to demonstrate the original structure and culture of Pakhtunkhwa people to the outer world and to remove all sorts of misconceptions and ambiguities about Pakhtunkhwa people through presenting original socio – cultural values in academic environment.
